💩 Poop $ — Privacy Policy

Poop $ ("the app") is a humorous time-and-earnings tracker. This policy explains what information the app collects, how it is used, and the choices you have.

Information we collect

• Account information: when you sign in with Google (or Apple), we receive your account's email address and a unique user ID. We use these only to identify your account.
• Profile information you provide: your chosen username, your hourly rate, and your leaderboard privacy setting.
• Usage data you create: session timestamps, durations, calculated earnings, optional session descriptions (type/color), your friends list, and any users you block or report.

The app does not collect your location, contacts, photos, health data, or advertising identifiers, and contains no ads or third-party trackers.

Where your data lives

Data is stored in Google Firebase (Authentication and Cloud Firestore), protected by security rules so that only you can read or write your own data. A local copy is cached on your device for offline use.

What other users can see

If you set your profile to Public, other signed-in users can see your username and aggregate stats (total earnings, session counts, streaks, longest/best session) on the leaderboard. Set your profile to Private in Settings at any time to be removed from the leaderboard. Session descriptions are never shared unless you explicitly share an image yourself.

Sharing with third parties

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties. Data is processed by Google Firebase solely to operate the app.

Data retention and deletion

Your data is kept until you delete it. You can:

• Reset All Data (Settings) — deletes your stats, friends, and username but keeps your sign-in account; or
• Delete Account (Settings) — permanently deletes all of the above and your authentication account. This cannot be undone.

Children

The app is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from them.

Changes

If this policy changes materially, we will update this page and the "last updated" date above.
